Let's Celebrate new year eve in Jakarta. Jakarta as metropolitan city, held spectacular celebration for new year eve 2010. Celebration will be focused on three International tourism destinations: Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah and Ragunan Zoo. More over in the three place above, celebration will be held in hotels and others place.
Although the National Monument square (Monas) is not the center of New year`s Eve celebration, but it will open from 04.30 to 03.00 on the next day; usually Monas opens from 04.30 to 24.00. Head of Tourism and Culture Dept., Arie Budhiman, states that it is not prohibited for people to celebrate New Year in Monas or on Jl Sudirman and Jl Thamrin. Attractive music concerts and other performances will be held in those three tourist destinations, which will become the centers of New Year`s Eve celebration. Different from the previous years, the music concerts will be separated by their genres. There will be several stages for several kinds of music genre. “We will still hold fireworks attraction in those three places,” Budhiman vowed. |
