Java located between sumatra island and Bali. It easy to reach from Bali to all of capital city in Java as Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang, Jakarta and Jogjakarta. Java is crossed from east to west by mountains rising to 2,750 m. Of these mountains, 112 are volcanic and 35 are active. The Java's highest mountain, Semeru (3,676 m), located in east Java and one of spectacular tourist attraction and real adventure for hikking and trekking. The weathering of volcanic ash has given rise to fertile soils which has helped to produce a very productive agriculture. About 40% of the cultivated land consists of rice terraces, while major commercial crops include rubber, coffee, tea, sugar, quinine, tobacco, cacao, and timber. Java covered by sea and beautiful beaches. South of Java is Indonesia Ocean. All of beaches in south of Java has great wave, especially in Plengkung or G-Land in east Java. Plengkung or G-Land is the most greatest place for surfing. And some beaches is place for giant turtle like Sukamade in east java. Parang tritis in Jogjakarta and Pangandaran in Wes Java have white sandy beaches and beautiful scenary. North Java has more calm wave in most beaches. Fafourite tourist destination in north Java is Pasir Putih in Situbondo, east java. In the most east Java has tabuhan island. Located in Banyungi, this island good for diving, snorkeling and fishing. Beside the magic natural scenary, Java also have great cultural and heritage from old history. They are Borobudur, the biggest Buddha temple. Prambanan temple, most exotics hindust temple, Candi Sewu, Lawang Sewu building, Trowulan, Keraton, Jembatan Merah and uncounted cultural heritage. |
