Garuda Indonesia Airline Fly For East Java Tourism Reported by Jakarta Post, the biggest Indonesia arilines, Garuda Indonesia, will fly to promote East Java tourism abroad this year. As We know, East Java always have an apeal International Destination in Indonesia beside Bali. East Java has adventurous few, culture and tradition that good for sale for tourism.
Suranto, Garuda Indonesia's director for east region said that Garuda want foreign tourists to be aware that Indonesia does not only consist of Bali.
More, Suranto said, "We want them to see that there are dozens of beautiful areas and great culture in East Java."
For realize the plans, Garuda would cooperate with local administration, tourism operators and other related parties to launch the program, he said as quoted by kompas.com.
The official, however, did not elaborate when asked how many foreign tourists the company had targeted and the funds needed to finance the promotion.
The airline also aims at attracting local officials to become frequent fliers, Suranto said, adding that this was an effort to boost its number of passengers. |
