A powerful earthquake hit Indonesia on Wednesday, 12 September 2007, causing buildings to sway strongly in the capital, and authorities issued a tsunami warning for much of the Indian Ocean region. The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 8.2 and hit at about 6:10 p.m. It was centered 9.7 miles underground in the southern Sumatra area, the USGS said.
Indonesian Tourism Minister, Jero wacik said that National tourism target will achieved. Following several pronouncements expressing confidence that the target of 6 million foreign visitors to Indonesia would be achieved in 2007, Indonesia's Minister of Culture and Tourism is now expressing some misgivings as to whether national tourism targets can be achieved. 
The Gilis, as they are known collectively, are located a few kilometres off the west coast of Lombok just north of Senggigi beach. The three Gili Islands, Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Terawangan, are one of Lombok's most popular tourist destinations. These island are considered special because of the diversity and abundance of marine life that finds its home in the extensive coral waters that surround each of them. It is these coral reefs that are home to the blue coral, a coral said to grow in only two places in the world, the Carribbean and here, off the coast of Lombok. The islands are very relaxed and laid-back, with countless little beachside cafes serving up delicious food, and fresh fish grills. There are no cars or motorbikes on this islands. People can walk around, or pick up the local transport (cidomo) horse cart, rent bicycle or ride a horse here.
Topat, more popular called as Ketupat, and Lebaran the meaning is celebration. Lebaran Topat, one of many famous traditional in Lombok. This tradition not only in Lombok, in other place of Indonesia, Java, Betawi, Bugis and others, have some tradition with different name. Lebaran Topat usually held at 7th Syawal in Arabic Calendar or After Idul Fitri.

This journey must take about four hundred meters from Pai beach. To go there only ten minutes by motor boat. Best time to go Nisa Kapa if the water level has gone down. If not it, forget it.
